Large-scale Moscow's Strikes Eliminate Electricity Throughout Kyiv

Energy infrastructure targeted in Ukraine
The country's energy systems have faced increased attacks in the past few days

During the night, Moscow's missile and drone strikes have caused power cuts in multiple districts of the capital city, Kyiv.

Nine people were wounded while local people in eastern districts were plunged into darkness and encountered disruption to water systems, as stated by city officials.

At the same time, a young boy was lost their life in a separate assault in the Zaporizhzhia region in the southeastern part, as reported by regional authorities.

Russian forces has escalated strikes on electrical systems over the last fortnight, while Ukrainian leadership has requested "real steps" from partner nations to increase pressure on Moscow.

"What's needed is not window dressing but decisive action - from the America, European nations and the major economies - in supplying air defence systems and enforcing penalties," mentioned in a online statement.

Authorities reported that hundreds of unmanned aircraft and over thirty rockets attacked Ukraine's energy infrastructure, labeling such attacks as "cynical and calculated" and against "everything that sustains normal life" as temperatures become colder.

The energy minister said Moscow was "launching a major assault" and repair crews were striving to fix the damage.

A series of attacks damaged energy infrastructure and civilian homes in Kyiv.

Multiple people hurt in the attacks on the city have been transported for medical care, per statements from local officials.

Regional authorities said the metropolitan region endured significant strikes overnight. A young boy was killed and several individuals were injured.

The attacks succeed nights of air raids in the area, sections of which are currently controlled by invading troops.

The whole nation is on alert for advanced weapon attacks, which are tougher to identify.

Authorities told reporters that Moscow was deliberately attempting to destroy the national power system, with attacks already impacting energy systems.

Authorities confirmed utility staff and government agencies were preparing for further attacks.
